Through dark and light, through every age’s burn.They met as hunter, hunted, in the reeds;
As scribe and queen beneath a cedar’s shade;
As sailors lost when tempests broke their steeds—
Each time the heart remembered, unafraid.No distance dimmed the tether spun of star;
No death could snap the cord that bound their core.
Though centuries would scatter who they are,

One molten gold, the other silver’s gleam,
Twin essences the stars would later name.Through eons spun they drifted, separate streams,

In Sumer’s dust she wore a crown of dreams,
In Renaissance he carved her name in air.A fisherman’s wife on storm-lashed Irish stone,
A poet’s muse beneath Kyoto’s moon—
Each life a thread, yet never quite their own,
